Left Ventricular Assist Device - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This full color medical exhibit illustrates the placement and function of a left ventricular assist device. A male orientation figure shows the anatomical position of the heart and how the device is fitted to the body. A second image shows a front cut-away view of the heart with the ventricular assist device in place. The pump and batteries are labeled.
