Skin Grafting of the Arms and Hands - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
The stock medical exhibit illustrates the surgical procedure performed for skin graft coverage of multiple burned areas of the hands and arms. The first image demonstrates debridement of the hands and arms. Step two shows the harvest of graft skin from the anterior thigh. Two additional images show the placement and application of the graft tissue to the wounds on the arm and hand.
"The illustrations have consistently been well documented, accurate and
timely. Most important though is that the illustrations demonstrate to
juries and claims people the persuasive power of visual communication. Our
firm has achieved multiple eight figure settlements and verdicts over the
past ten years... Medical Legal Art has been there with us on every case."

"Our firm was able to settle our case at an all day mediation yesterday and
I am confident that the detail and overall appearance of the medical
illustrations significantly contributed to the settlement. When we require
medical illustrations in the future, I will be sure to contact [MLA]."
