This stock medical exhibit portrays a tracheostomy and left laser cordotomy. Seven illustrations are on the exhibit. The first illustration shows the location of the vocal cords in a sagittal view. The second illustration depicts the vocal cords in a superior view. The third illustration shows a tracheostomy tube in the trachea in a sagittal view. The fourth illustration portrays a laryngoscope being placed. The fifth illustration depicts the extension of a laser down into the larynx. The sixth and seventh illustrations show the removal of the left false vocal cord and incision of the left vocal cord.
