Cervical and Thoracic Spine Injuries with Spinal Cord Damage - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This is a single board exhibit with an orientation view, two pre-operative color film interpretations, and two surgery images.\r\n\r\nThe orientation view shows a sagittal view of a male figure and full spine with box outlines around the cervical and thoracic region.\r\n\r\nThe top two images address the cervical injuries and surgical correction. The injuries are illustrated with a color film interpretation, emphasizing the large posterior osteophyte complexes at C4-5 and C5-6 and their effects on the spinal cord. The surgery image incorporates the removal of the disc and osteophyte material at C4-5 and C5-6, as well as the insertion of cervical cage implants in each prepared space.\r\n\r\nThe bottom two images address the thoracic injuries and surgical correction. The injuries are illustrated with a color film interpretation, emphasizing the fracture through the disc and tissue layers at T9-T10 and the resulting spinal cord hematoma. The surgical image combines the laminectomy at T9-10 and the insertions of bilateral pedicle screws from T7-T12, rods, cross-connectors at T8-9 and T10-11, and bone graft.

firm has achieved multiple eight figure settlements and verdicts over the
past ten years... Medical Legal Art has been there with us on every case."
