Small Bowel Preforation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This is a single board that illustrates the perforation of the patient’s small bowel during a laproscopic procedure.\r\n\r\nThe first illustrations are of the laproscopic surgery as seen from an anterior view and a sagittal inset. The larger anterior view shows the positions of the instrumentation used during the surgery and how one of the superior instruments was pushed too far and into the patient’s lower intestine. The sagittal illustrates the adhesions between the intestines and the abdominal wall as mentioned in the reports.\r\n\r\nThe second group of illustrations depict the patient’s condition after the bowl was perforated. The large anterior view illustrates how far the inner fluids spread throughout the patient’s abdomen from the puncture wound. The smaller inset gives a closer view of the actual perforation.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"This past year, your company prepared three medical illustrations for our cases; two in which we received six figure awards; one in which we received a substantial seven figure award. I believe in large part, the amounts obtained were due to the vivid illustrations of my clients' injuries and the impact on the finder of fact."

Donald W. Marcari

"You and your company are wonderful. Your service, turnaround time, quality and price were better than I could have asked for. Please add me to your long list of satisfied customers."

Robert F. Linton, Jr.
Linton & Hirshman

"For modern audiences, it is absolutely essential to use medical demonstrative evidence to convey the severity and extent of physical injuries to a jury. Your company's high quality illustrations of our client's discectomy surgery, combined with strong expert testimony, allowed the jury to fully appreciate the significance of our client's injuries.

We are very pleased with a verdict exceeding $297,000.00, far in excess of the $20,000.00 initially offered by the defendant. The medical demonstrative evidence provided by Medical Legal Art was an asset we could not have afforded to have been without."

Todd J. Kenyon
Attorney at Law
Minneapolis, MN

"I have found that the personalized medical illustrations prepared by Medical Legal Art have been very accurate and helpful. The medical doctors, both treating physicians and expert witnesses, have commented on the accuracy and professionalism of the medical illustrations. Most importantly, your prompt service and attention upon even short notice has been tremendous. I can certainly say that the medical illustrations prepared by Medical Legal Art have assisted us in bringing cases to a successful resolution."
