This medical exhibit features the following multiple images of an anterior cutaway view of the respiratory system during a bronchoscopy. A bronchoscopeis present. A tear is evident in the lateral posterior wall of the trachea, along with tracheal stenosis. There is bilateral effusions. There is lower lobe atelectasis and consolidation present bilaterally. The second illustration is an anterior cutaway view of the respiratory system during a bronchoscopy. A large mucous plug is present in the left main stem bronchus. Lower lobe infiltrates and consolidation are present in both lungs. The left lung is shown with very substantial volume loss. The third illustration shows an anterior cutaway view of the respiratory system. Mucous plugs are present in the base of the left lung. Bilateral consolidation of the lower lobes are shown.
