This stock medical exhibit features one anterior view of the lower body of a male figure with the skeletal anatomy shown transparently beneath the skin. This image provides an overview of the dislocation of the left hip and the open lacerations of both knee regions. Also, enlarged skeletal views of each knee are shown as insets beside this image. These images illustrate the internal injuries in these regions. The left knee image reveals the fracture of the patella and the damage to the medial femoral condyle. The right knee image reveals the rupture of the patellar tendon. Also, one image is included demonstrating the surgical repair of the left patella and another image demonstrates the surgical repair of the right patellar tendon.
