Tendon Transfer Revision and Skin Graft - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit features the pre-operative condition after nearly three years of surgical repair in attempt to salvage the right arm after a near amputation. This exhibit begins with an anterior view of the right upper extremity and includes the pertinent musculature and nerves as well as the internal fixation hardware of the humerus. These structures are ghosted beneath skin.rnThe key steps of the revision of the tissue and tendon transfer of the flexor carpi ulnaris to the extensor digitorum communis with the application of a sheet of silicone beneath the tendon are illustrated. Also, the key step in the split - thickness skin graft to right arm wound are included.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"I thought you might want to know that after we sent a copy of your illustration to the defendants, with a copy to the insurance company, they increased their offer by an additional million dollars and the case was settled for $1,900,000.00.

I appreciate your help!"

"This past year, your company prepared three medical illustrations for our cases; two in which we received six figure awards; one in which we received a substantial seven figure award. I believe in large part, the amounts obtained were due to the vivid illustrations of my clients' injuries and the impact on the finder of fact."

"I would like to thank all of you at Medical Legal Art for all the assistance you provided. It was a result of the excellent, timely work that we were able to conclude the case successfully.

I feel very confident that our paths will cross again."

"We got a defense verdict yesterday! Your exhibit was extremely helpful in showing the jury how unlikely it is to damage all four of the nerve branches which control the sense of taste."
