Bladder Outlet Obstruction and Cystoscopy - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This series of illustrations depict an initial small tumor around the anterior portion of the neck of the bladder causing obstruction of the urethra and detected time later when it had doubled the size. In the bottom row, the illustrations shows three different types of cystoscopes typically used during the examination of the bladder. Among the types of cystoscopes shown, only by using a flexible cystoscope would allow to view the entirety of the internal bladder surface including the neck area.
