Multiple Traumatic Injuries - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit features an overall silhouette (outline) view of a male figure revealing the full skeleton from the skull down to the feet. The frontal aspects of the skull reveals the brain within and the abdominal organs are shown between the ribcage and the pelvis. This image provides an overall orientation to the sites of injury in this case. Boxes are drawn around the bilateral wrists, right hip and right knee to point out the sites of the orthopedic injuries. Also, the brain is surrounded by a red glow to represent the concussion and the laceration of the right lobe of the liver will be shown. Also, enlarged skeletal views of the four sites of orthopedic injury is created to show these injuries in greater detail. The following specific enlargements included: left wrist with fracture of the distal radius, right wrist with fracture of the distal radius, right hip with fractures of the acetabulum and superior pubic ramus, right knee with proximal fibular and tibial fractures and tears of the posterior cruciate ligament and anterior cruciate ligament.
"I thought you might want to know that after we sent a copy of your
illustration to the defendants, with a copy to
the insurance company, they increased their offer by an additional million
dollars and the case was settled for $1,900,000.00.
I appreciate your help!"

"For us, the defining feature of effective demonstrative evidence is
whether, by itself, the piece will tell the story of the case. Medical legal
Art provides our firm with illustrations and animations that are clear and
persuasive. Their exhibits tell the story in a way that allows the jury to
understand a very complex subject, very quickly."

Medical Legal Art creates medical demonstrative evidence (medical
illustrations, drawings, pictures, graphics, charts, medical animations,
anatomical models, and interactive presentations) for use during legal
proceedings, including research, demand letters, client conferences,
depositions, arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences, mock jury
trials and for use in the courtroom. We do not provide legal or medical
advice. If you have legal questions, you should find a lawyer with whom you
can discuss your case issues. If you have medical questions, you should seek the advice of a healthcare provider.
