This full color stock medical exhibit depicts pre-operative spinal injuries from L4-S1 that resulted in the need for surgical intervention to repair the injuries. A series of images illustrate the pre-operative condition of the lumbar spine to highlight the areas of injury, the posterior incision to expose the injured region, the laminectomies and the removal of the herniated disc material compressing the nerves and the caudal sac.
