Anatomy of the Esophagus and Aorta - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit begins with one silhouette view of the upper body of a generic white male figure revealing the aorta, esophagus, diaphragm and stomach. In this image, the heart is removed providing a clear view of the full course of the aorta down through the chest to see the proximity of the esophagus and aorta in the chest. A box is drawn around a section of the descending aorta and esophagus where they are in close proximity just beneath the level of the aortic arch. This box corresponds with the following enlargement. Next, one large anterior cut-away view of the aorta and esophagus is included showing these structures side-by-side. This cut away view provides a histological view of the layers of the walls of each structure with each layer clearly labeled.

"Medical illustrations are essential evidence in personal injury litigation and MLA is simply the best I've found at producing high-quality illustrations. Your illustrators are not only first-class artists, but creative and responsive. Your turn around time is as good as it gets. My clients have won over $60 million in jury verdicts and I can't recall a case which did not include one of your exhibits. On behalf of those clients, thanks and keep up the great work!"

"We got a defense verdict yesterday! Your exhibit was extremely helpful in showing the jury how unlikely it is to damage all four of the nerve branches which control the sense of taste."
