Complex Facial Fractures - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with one large silhouette view of the upper body of a male from the waist up to the head revealing the skeletal structure and internal organs of this region including the lungs shown within the chest and the brain shown within the skull. This image provides an overall orientation to various sites of injury. These include multiple facial fractures, brain contusions and a subarachnoid hemorrhage, as well as a right sided pneumothorax and pulmonary contusions. Also, one enlarged anterior skeletal view of the skull and one cross sectional view of the brain are included. These two enlargements provide a more detailed and dramatic illustration of the various head injuries. The skull view dramatically reveals various facial fractures. The cross sectional view reveals a contusion in the basal ganglia and a subarachnoid hemorrhage.
