Crush Injuries of the Right Foot - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit features three dorsal (top) views of the right foot illustrating the injuries in this region at various depths. The first image illustrates the external post-accident appearance with crushing and swelling of the foot and loss of skin along the lateral border of the foot and in the proximal medial foot. The second image illustrates the underlying muscles and soft tissues of the foot with the skin and fat removed. This internal view shows the swelling and devitalization of the musculature, as well as the hematoma which developed within the soft tissues. The third image illustrates the underlying skeletal anatomy with all skin and soft tissue removed. This image reveals the various fractures and displacement of the metatarsals which is specifically on the post-accident x-rays.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:

"Our practice involves medical negligence cases exclusively. We have six attorneys and one physician on staff. We have used Medical Legal Art's staff for every one of our cases over the past 12 years and have found their services to be extraordinary. The transformation of medical records into powerful graphic images has without fail been handled expertly, expeditiously and effectively translating into superb results for our clients, both in the courtroom and in settlement. Every case can benefit from their excellent work and we unqualifiedly recommend their services. They are the best!"

"This past year, your company prepared three medical illustrations for our cases; two in which we received six figure awards; one in which we received a substantial seven figure award. I believe in large part, the amounts obtained were due to the vivid illustrations of my clients' injuries and the impact on the finder of fact."

"We got a defense verdict yesterday! Your exhibit was extremely helpful in showing the jury how unlikely it is to damage all four of the nerve branches which control the sense of taste."
