Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair - Medical Animation
This 3D animation depicts an endovascular procedure for an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Abdominal aortic aneurysm (also known as AAA, pronounced 'triple-a') is a localized dilatation (ballooning) of the abdominal aorta exceeding the normal diameter by more than 50 percent. In an endovascular procedure catheters are used to place a stent graft in the aneurysm.
