Failed Anterior Lumbar Fusion with Additional Posterior Laminectomy and Fusion - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit begins with one sagittal (side cut-away) view of the lower lumbar spine. This image clearly reveals the fusion cages previously placed at the L4-5 and L5-S1 levels and also show that these interspaces have failed to heal resulting in a pseudoarthrosis at each level. Next, multiple steps of a posterior laminectomy and fusion procedure are illustrated. These steps include an incision into the lower back, a decompressive laminectomy, the insertion of bone graft and the post-operative condition.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"We got a defense verdict yesterday! Your exhibit was extremely helpful in showing the jury how unlikely it is to damage all four of the nerve branches which control the sense of taste."

"There is nothing like a great graphic depicting the real nature and extent of a victim's injuries to get full value for your client. I use Medical Legal Art for mediations as well as trial."

"The Doe Report's Do-It-Yourself Exhibits program enables easy customization of complex medical exhibits at a reasonable expense and in a timely manner. Practically speaking, custom medical exhibits are no longer an unthinkable luxury, but a routine necessity."

"At 3 PM it hit me--I needed exhibits of a tracheostomy, a coronary artery bypass and a deep vein thrombosis--all in time for a for-trial video deposition the next day. The Doe Report had each exhibit on line. In addition, I ran across an exhibit I hadn't even thought of: reduced ejection fraction after a heart attack. Because this was a video deposition, I could use the e-mail version of the medical exhibit, print it on my color copier, and let the camera zoom in. For $400, less than one blow-up by one of The Doe Report's competitors, I got four first-rate exhibits in less than a day. The Doe Report saved me time and money."
