This medical illustration series depicts the normal anatomy of the inner ear. Enlarged view of the labyrinth: semi-circular (semicircular) canals, oval window, round window, ampullae, utricle, saccule, cochlea and vestibulocochlear nerve. Enlarged view of ampullae for dynamic equilibrium, the flow of endolymph, crista and ampullary nerve. Enlargement of the macula of the utricle and saccule for static equilibrium, otoliths, and the movement of otoliths stimulating hair cells.
