Left Hip Fracture with Hip Replacement - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This full color stock medical exhibit features illustrations depicting a traumatic left hip fracture and steps from the hip replacement procedure. The first illustration provides an interpretive illustration of the pre-operative condition based on the patients x-ray film and highlights the fracture to the femoral neck. A series of images then illustrate the lateral view of the hip showing the incision as it is made into the hip, the debridement and extraction of the femoral head, the preparation of the femoral canal for the prosthesis and the post-operative condition based on the patients x-ray film highlighting the prosthetic implant.
