Lumbar Spine Injuries with Double Level Surgical Fusion - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
Lumbar Spine Injuries with Double Level Surgical Fusion
This medical exhibit begins with one sagittal view of the lumbar spine illustrating the pre-operative condition. This image is based specifically on the pre-operative MRI scans and reveals the multi-level degenerative changes including the annular tear at the L5-S1 level. Five steps of the double level posterior lumbar laminectomy and fusion procedure are shown including the incision and bone harvested, the laminectomy, the insertion of the BAK cages and the fusion with rods and screws. The actual post-operative film is included as well.

million dollar verdict last Friday."

"Thank you for the wonderful illustrations. The case resulted in a defense verdict last Friday. I know [our medical expert witness] presented some challenges for you and I appreciate how you were able to work with him."
