The aorta presents stenosis at its root, a predominant left coronary artery, has a heavily calcified bicuspid valve and the ostia of the coronary arteries are very low just above the annulus. A pericardial patch is placed to enlarge the aortic root and a porcine valve placed. A second variety of porcine valve replaces the first one due to obstruction of left main coronary artery.
