Cervical Spine Injury and Surgical Fusion - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This series of illustrations depicts disc herniations at C4-5, C6-7 and a disc bulge at C5-6. Surgical discectomy and bone fusion is performed at C5-6. A Uni-plate is applied to C5 and C6 vertebral body to keep the carbon-fiber cage secured in place.
