Cervical Spine Injuries with Anterior and Posterior Surgical Fusion - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This exhibit begins showing a color interpretation of the cervical spine with a pre-existent cervical bone fusion condition from C4 to C7 and new disc injuries above and below this levels at C2-3, C3-4 and C7-T1. The surgical procedures here depicts an anterior approach to repair C2-3 and C7-T1 levels where discectomies and bone fusion is performed and a posterior approach showing bilateral laminectomies and foraminotomies at C7-T1 to decompress the C8 nerve root.
