Menstrual Flow - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit pictures the female reproductive anatomy and menstrual flow from a coronal view (cut section viewed from the front). The illustration diagramatically illustrates the cyclic discharge of endometrium (blood, secretions, tissue and mucous) from the mature female uterus in the absence of pregnancy. Labels include the ovary, uterus, fallopian tube, and endometrium (shedding).
