Roux-en-Y Procedure - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

This exhibit consist of five images focused in the anatomical area of the Gallbladder and surrounding structures. We begin showing the anatomy of the surgical site followed by four steps of the Roux-en-Y procedure including: resection of the jejunum, anastomosis of the jejunum to the common hepatic duct and anastomosis of the duodenum down to the lower part of the jejunum forming a Y-shaped connection.
