Left Lower Leg Injury with Surgical Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit depicts a left lower leg injury with internal fixation. The exhibit begins with one anterior skeletal view of the left lower leg clearly revealing the comminuted fracture of the proximal tibial shaft. Also shown are the key steps involved in the internal fixation procedure beginning with a midline incision just inferior to the knee. Next is a skeletal view of the left lower leg illustrating the insertion of lag screws into the tibia securing large fracture fragments and a proximal tibial plate is secured to the tibia with multiple screws. Then a cancellous bone graft is harvested from the iliac crest. Finally, that bone graft is placed into the medial fracture site.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"Your firm is great to work with and, most importantly for me, you get the job done on time and with the utmost professionalism. You should be proud of all those you employ, from KJ to Ben B. I've been especially pleased over the years with the work of Brian and Alice, both of whom seem to tolerate my idiosycratic compulsion to edit, but I've not found a bad apple in the bunch (and, as you know, I've used your firm a bunch!). I look forward to our continued professional relationship."

"I have found that the personalized medical illustrations prepared by Medical Legal Art have been very accurate and helpful. The medical doctors, both treating physicians and expert witnesses, have commented on the accuracy and professionalism of the medical illustrations. Most importantly, your prompt service and attention upon even short notice has been tremendous. I can certainly say that the medical illustrations prepared by Medical Legal Art have assisted us in bringing cases to a successful resolution."

Paul L. Redfearn
The Redfearn Law Firm, P.C.
Kansas City, MO

"This past year, your company prepared three medical illustrations for our cases; two in which we received six figure awards; one in which we received a substantial seven figure award. I believe in large part, the amounts obtained were due to the vivid illustrations of my clients' injuries and the impact on the finder of fact."

Donald W. Marcari
Marcari Russotto & Spencer, P.C.
Chesapeake, VA

"The illustrations have consistently been well documented, accurate and timely. Most important though is that the illustrations demonstrate to juries and claims people the persuasive power of visual communication. Our firm has achieved multiple eight figure settlements and verdicts over the past ten years... Medical Legal Art has been there with us on every case."
