This full color stock medical exhibit depicts cervical disc herniations at the C5-7 levels and includes multiple steps showing the surgical discectomy and fusion. The first image is an orientational view of the injury from a sagittal view of the cervical spine. To the right is the surgical discectomy with the first image showing the incision site and the next image showing removal of the intervertebral disc material. The next image shows the disc space being prepared for the insertion of the cages. The final images shows the cages being inserted into the disc spaces.
